Adam, you are the ignorant one. Most religions preach peace and have the “golden rule”. Islam preaches convert, surrender or die.
I have thought to myself for some time now, that without the existence of Islam we would have achieved that lifelong dream of mankind, the existence of World Peace. In fact Islam is just about the only obstacle stopping us from doing so. Funnily enough though, Muslims think that Islam is the only thing that can bring about World Peace which is like saying that drinking a deadly poison is the only way to make you healthy.
When will the World wake up and realize that not only should Islam not be tolerated as a religion, but every effort be made to completely destroy it and completely remove it from this planet.

It appears you are an Atheist. I too was an Atheist for 32 of my 35 years. 3 years ago I found Bhuddism which suits me fine. If it is true that you are an Atheist you need to stop showing so much contempt for religion. It makes Atheism look bad. Atheism already is misunderstood way too much and it does not help at all that leftists like you choose to try to mix Atheism into your politics.
In my life being a political libertarian/conservative along with being an ardent Atheist at the same time I always felt alienated by both the left and the right. Islam is not a culture but a body of principals and universal values. British Muslims are enriching for the whole society. From the Middle Ages, Islam has participated in the building of a European as well as British consciousness. The influence of Islamic civilisation on the literary and philosophical traditions is innumerable
The whole world belongs to Muslims because they are well versed in standard English and they could go for higher studies and research to serve humanity. At the same time they are well versed in Arabic language to serve Arabic speaking Muslim and non-Muslim communities in the Middle East. They are also well versed in Urdu and other community languages to keep in touch with their cultural heritage and enjoy the beauty of their literature and poetry.
The British schooling is being used to make them notoriously monolingual Brits so that they find themselves cut off from the countries of origin and make them racist just like native Brits who are unable to speak hardly any foreign language. Anyone who reads the Torah (which includes all of the Old Testament as well as some other books) and the New Testament then reads the Koran can see that it is a complete ripoff and bastardization of both religions. This is why the Moslems hate the idea of Bibles in their nations and don’t want archeologists digging up the Biblical past, any of the finds that touch on religion show both Judaism and Christianity have a historical connection to that area but nothing has been found to support Islam and the claims of Mohammad.

Nor do I wish to see floggings stoning’s, beheadings, FGM, forced marriages, polygamy or any other backward practice still prevalent in many Islamic societies.

For the unfamiliar, from 1997 to 2010 Ann Cryer was a left-wing MP for the Yorkshire constituency of Keighley which has a large immigrant population. For those who wonder how she offended some within the muslim community, she had the courage to speak out in quite muted terms about the grooming of young white girls by ‘Asian’ men, warn about growing incidents of forced marriages and honour killings, and criticise the refusal of some immigrants to learn to speak English. She also spoke out about the cultural practice of cousin marriages which resulted in high levels of birth defects, a custom which placed a growing social and financial burden on society that would inevitably increase if the practice continued – which of course it did.
This is the reality behind Iftikhars coy reference to ‘transcontinental marriages’ a process of never ending chain migration and the widespread practice of cousin marriages that results in a soaring rate of birth defect.
Cryer adopted a restrained approach, to avoid inflaming ‘community relation – which generally means avoiding giving offence to muslims – often an impossible task, due to the cynical ploy of some who will claim offence at any hint of censure or criticism of any cultural practice they wish to maintain.
It’s not the warnings of Ann Cryer that should offend anyone, it’s the practices themselves, but naturally, the diversity champions and multi cults with their mantra of – no culture is better than another and who are you to criticise – don’t quite see it that way. He is seriously trying to make some ludicrous claim of a shortage of suitable candidates in the existing community, leaving no option than to return to one’s ancestral home and marry ones cousin. Not only does he ignore the negative aspects of such cultural practices, Iftikhar unwittingly provides clear warning of a future inhabited by individuals with conflicting loyalties, and a total lack of comprehension of the possible alienation and social strife these divided loyalties might bring further down the line.
He also displays zero concern or comprehension for the alienating effect on the indigenous population who are faced with a never ending stream of immigrants who often have no wish to integrate, don’t speak the language, insist on practicing cultural norms that are often incompatible with our existing laws and cultural norms including gender and sexual equality, and who are increasingly determined to alter society to suit their own religious and cultural norms.
But why should he care? Our views aren’t important, we are just ‘native brits’ and no one bothers to ask what we want. We aren’t supposed to notice or take offence when radical Islamists openly boast of appropriating our land and replacing our laws with sharia, and turning our country into an Islamic society through violence in the short term, or demographics in the long term.
We aren’t supposed to notice or take offence when our soldiers are spat at and abused, when our young girls are sexually abused, when our churches are vandalised, when our streets are plastered with seditious warnings of the coming revolution when islam will dominate and rule over us. We are supposed to accept and pay for polygamous marriages, in the forlorn hope that such alien cultural norms will gradually fade away and anyway, it would be racist to draw attention to them. That’s what Iftikhar appears to believe, but then he would wouldn’t he, it suits his agenda.

Paying official respect towards a well-known individual is just that, a sign of respect, and has no bearing on a ban on religious symbols in French schools The Islamic scarf was not singled out, the ban applied to all religions. There was no discrimination and no hypocrisy involved, but I’m sure the supremacist victim mentality won’t accept that.
As for wearing the veil and burkha in public spaces, there are various bans regarding any covering that obscures identity, though I’d be happy to see a specific ban in the West for the veil, in my opinion a demeaning garment which I find extremely offensive and insulting to my beliefs. You can spare us the history of the invasion and illegal occupation of Spain and the numerous failed attempts to invade and occupy other European lands, which should make your task fairly brief.
