This is the same channel that did Undercover Mosque, got charged for it, beat the charge, and did a sequel, Hidden Mosque II, all of which is here on Vlad. More recently, Channel 4 did the excellent documentary, Britain’s Islamic Republic.
If Western Liberal Democracy survives this century, UK’s Channel 4 will have had a lot to do with it. We all owe them a debt of gratitude.
good interview with the father. Can’t say i blame him for seeing his son as a ‘victim’…This was an average kid, apple pie, basketball, college, the whole thing. Could the father have somehow intervened and made a difference? Since this guy’s “conversion” didn’t happen until college, I doubt it.
There’s a piece missing in any person’s hardware who can just randomly shoot people for dogma. Definitely, Diana West is right: we’re living with The Death of the Grown-Up.
I do feel sorry for that dad, and for the family of the soldier who was killed.
It’s funny how they don’t make the connection between him becoming more devout, and more violent. The correlation is lost on them. Rather than “radical Islam”, isn’t it just people who take Islam seriously? What about using the words serious about Islam, to denote terrorists? And Islam slackers, to denote people who just go to the Mosque but don’t blow people up, rape white women, or kill their daughters?
Just a thought.
