Saudi Arabia: Air Force Begins Attack On Militants In Northern Yemen – Report
November 5, 2009
Saudi Arabia’s air force Nov. 5 began an attack on militant strongholds in northern Yemen, Reuters reported, citing an unsourced report by Elaph Web site. The Saudi operation, which reportedly also includes ground forces moving toward the Saudi-Yemeni border, began after two Saudi security troops were killed by militants. No Saudi or Yemeni officials have confirmed the report.
