1. Isis issues list of seven rules for Christians in Raqqa: Pray quietly and not in public

Islamic State (Isis) have released a list of seven rules which all Christians living in Syrian city Raqqa must obey.

The statement opens with a quote from the Quran, which reads: “Fight those who do not believe in Allah, nor in the latter day, nor do they prohibit what Allah and His Apostle have prohibited, nor follow the religion of truth, out of those who have been given the Book, until they pay the tax in acknowledgement of superiority and they are in a state of subjection.”

It goes on to declare that Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the self-styled caliph of Islamic State, had given safety to Christians, promising to protect “their selves, children, money and churches.”

The promised safeguard comes with a list of seven clear rules, forbidding public worship and treachery against IS.

Under IS, Christians in Raqqa are no longer allowed to construct churches in their villages or even repair any damaged churches.

(This is scripturally and historically accurate Islam)

3. Arsonist sets fire to Swedish mosque, injuring five – police

(Reuters) – An arsonist set fire to a mosque in the Swedish town of Eskilstuna on Thursday, injuring five people, police said, an incident which comes amid an intense debate over immigration.

The immigration debate has pitted the far right, which wants to cut the number of asylum seekers allowed into Sweden by 90 percent, against mainstream parties intent on preserving the Nordic country’s liberal policy.

Between 15 and 20 people were in the mosque, located in the ground floor of a building in a mainly residential area, when the fire erupted. Local media footage showed smoke and flames billowing from the windows.

5. U.S. Attorney: ISIS attempts to recruit Ferguson protesters (Video)

“The Islamic State, or ISIS, has been attempting to reach out to Ferguson supporters who hate America as confirmed by U.S. Attorney in Southern District of Illinois, Steve Wigginton, who said “ISIS wants people who hate the U.S. government as much they do.”

While the report from KDSK confirms this type of social media recruiting, the Washington Post, as well as the conspiracy-themed site Infowars reported on this trend almost a month ago.”

KDSK quoted Wigginton as saying,

“They are trying to reach the people who are anti government to begin with. We have a number of those individuals in the U.S., whether they are sovereign citizens, whether they are anarchists, they all showed up at one point or another in the St. Louis area in the last few months.”
