It is critically important that the nonsense of ‘lone wolf’ attacks be dropped from the media and government/security narrative as its as dismissive as calling them ‘mentally ill’, ‘misfits’ or any other term meant to detract from the facts. Stephen Harper leads the way on this, but we all must look for and broadcast the evidence for the real motives when we find it.

    “The vast majority of Pakistanis may be united in grief for the school children murdered in Peshawar – but many say they still don’t know who carried out the attacks. For the media – both in Pakistan and abroad – the issue is clear enough: the Pakistani Taliban did it. Not only has the organisation claimed the attacks. but the intelligence service ISI also recorded real time messages from handlers to the gunmen in the school.

    Those messages, the ISI has told journalists, came from the phones of Afghan-based, Pakistani Taliban organisers.
    But in Peshawar even people who witnessed the attack hesitate to blame the Taliban by name. They not only fear reprisals but are also following the hesitancy of a political elite that remains largely unwilling to name and condemn the Pakistani Taliban in unequivocal terms.

    Even on the day of the Peshawar school massacre, the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, failed to condemn the Taliban by name. He referred only to “terrorists”.

    An alternative narrative relating the school attacks is already emerging: rumours are circulating on social media and on the streets that it was the work of Indian or Afghan intelligence agencies. The fact that some of the attackers appear to have come from Central Asia lends weight to suggestions that there was a foreign hand in the attacks. The emerging analysis of the school massacre echoes that which occurred after the shooting of Malala Yousafzai….”

  2. This “lone wolf” belonged to the “Islamic Association of Lone Wolves”.

    I still think that LINDT having refused so far to give into the blackmail of HALAL certification and (as VladTepes reported) the “Boss of Halal Certification” had left the Lindt Café a short time before the vermin entered seems “a co-incidence too far”.

      • The lone wolf aka Lobo is one of the most destructive predators, if you have ever seen the results of a lobo attack you would know why the terrorists are called lone wolfs. Having said that no they aren’t acting alone, someone is helping them but the authorities don’t want us to know about the help in fear of the non existent backlash.

        • Maybe it’s because wolves mate for life?
          Wife dies or is a bitch, what becomes of the Lone Wolf? He becomes “one of the most destructive predators”.

          Which is not to excuse his anti-social behavior.

        • That could be his reason, or he left the pack because only the dominate male is allowed to have sex and he is taking our his frustrations on anything he can lay his teeth on.

  3. P.S.: I envy you your gutsy Prime Minister, my Canadian friends – now HE seems to me to deserve the description of “Lone” …. “Lone Eagle”? “Lone Lion”? Not many Political Leaders like him around who have his courage.
