1. Iranian woman dances on Tehran’s metro in protest against laws

An Iranian woman protests against ‘oppressive’ laws for women by breaking two of them as she dances in public on Tehran’s subway without a veil covering her hair

2. Debunking the House Intelligence Report on Benghazi

In simple terms, this report is a whitewash of the CIA, which, along with the State Department, was responsible for arming and assisting the very jihadist militia groups that rose to power in the first place during the 2011 rebellion against Muammar Qaddafi, and who later murdered our people in Benghazi. The biggest intelligence failure of all that is never mentioned is the failure to understand the essential hostility of the jihadist ideology of the groups with which our government was dealing.

3. Raymond Ibrahim: Is Russia Banning Islam?

While this move against the hijab may appear as discriminatory against religious freedom, the flipside to all this—which perhaps Russia, with its significant Muslim population is aware of—is that, wherever the Islamic hijab proliferates, so too does Islamic supremacism and terrorism.  Tawfik Hamid, a former aspiring Islamic jihadi, says that “the proliferation of the hijab is strongly correlated with increased terrorism…. Terrorism became much more frequent in such societies as Indonesia, Egypt, Algeria, and the U.K. after the hijab became prevalent among Muslim women living in those communities.”

4. Rotherham police let children be raped for 20 years because they were afraid of being called racist, former far-right leader Tommy Robinson tells Oxford Union

Mr Robinson told students about the roots of the EDL and claimed it was a response to the ‘religious intolerance’ of some Muslims in his home town of Luton, Bedfordshire.

Talking about recent child abuse revelations in Rotherham, he said: ‘Fear paralysed Rotherham’s police force, the media and the politicians. The police facilitated the rape of children for 20 years because they were afraid of being called racist.’

He claimed Woodhill Prison, where he was sent after being jailed in January, is an ‘ISIS training camp’ where ‘the radicals are running the wings’.

5. An Ottawa mother’s lament for her radicalized son

An Ottawa woman has publicly decried the radicalization of her son, who stood up in a local mosque and hailed the killing of Cpl. Nathan Cirillo as a heroic act.

[…]

Abdunnur, 39, is now being held at the Ottawa-Carleton Detention Centre on charges of obstructing and assaulting a police officer.

Walrond said her son was radicalized in Ottawa during the past two decades by a group of men who promoted an ultraconservative brand of Islam, Wahhabism, rooted in Saudi Arabia.

“Because my son had come under their influence, he was going around asserting — as they used to do — who was Muslim and who was not Muslim, assuming the right to ex-communicate other people,” she said. […] Abdunnur had drawn the attention of national security officials after he publicly criticized an imam who condemned the Oct. 22 attack on Cirillo at the National War Memorial. Witnesses said Abdunnur stood up in the Assunnah mosque two days after the shooting and said the gunman should be called a hero and martyr. His actions were reported to police.

7. Peer faces formal complaint after calling on Muslims to “address the violence in the Qur’an”

(I had the pleasure of interviewing Lord Pearson in 2009 in Washington DC. He is an excellent human being and quite courageous. He actually was the man who invited Geert Wilders to speak at the House of Lords when Geert was arrested at the airport, if memory serves, and sent back to the Netherlands.)

Peer faces formal complaint after calling on Muslims to "address the violence in the Qur’an"

Lord Pearson of Rannoch is facing a formal complaint from Labour MP Khalid Mahmood, after calling on Muslims to “address the violence in the Qur’an.”

Speaking in the House of Lords, Pearson, the former UKIP leader, said: “My lords, are the government aware that Fusilier Rigby’s murderers quoted 22 verses of the Qur’an to justify their atrocity? Therefore, is the prime minister accurate or helpful when he describes it as a betrayal of Islam? Since the vast majority of Muslims are our peace-loving friends, should we not encourage them to address the violence in the Qur’an – and indeed in the life and the example of Muhammad?”

Thank you Oz-Rita, M., Yucki, and all. More to come. Why? Because this stuff is never ending. Thats why.

  1. Thirteen men have been convicted of a string of child sex crimes in Bristol involving the abuse, rape and prostitution of teenage girls.

Bristol Crown Court heard one victim, aged 16, was assaulted by five Somali men after she was moved to the city while in the care of another authority.

Her 14-year-old sister was raped by a member of the gang while visiting her.

The inquiry led to police uncovering another gang of Somali origin who had been abusing four other girls.

  2. Turkey Provides Hamas With New Headquarters

The Hamas terrorist organization has found a new best friend in the government of Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and has decided to move its international headquarters from war-torn Damascus to Istanbul.

Israel has expressed a certain degree of shock that a NATO-member like Turkey will now host and facilitate a recognized terrorist organization. But all appeals from Jerusalem have been ignored by Erdogan.

Already, the Turkish government’s decision is having a negative impact on the region. Israeli security forces this week arrested 30 Hamas-linked terrorists who were planning a series of large-scale attacks on Jerusalem. The cell received its instructions and funding from Hamas offices in Turkey.

In communications with NATO headquarters in Brussels, Israel said that it was incomprehensible for a member of the international military alliance to not only maintain ties to a group like Hamas, but to actually facilitate its activities. But Erdogan is a long-time friend of Hamas’ parent movement, the Muslim Brotherhood.

Israel Demands NATO Response to New Hamas Headquarters in Turkey

Israel has demanded that the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) take action against one of its members, Turkey, after learning that the country allowed the Gaza-based Palestinian terror group Hamas to set up operational headquarters in Istanbul.

Senior political sources in Jerusalem said Hamas has chosen to relocate its diplomatic and military headquarters from Damascus to Istanbul due to the civil war that is raging in Syria. Official communiqués sent from Jerusalem to NATO’s office in Brussels said it was inconceivable that a member of the intergovernmental military alliance would maintain ties with a terrorist organization, Israel Hayom reported.

Hamas’s new Istanbul operation is said to be headed by Saleh al-Arouri, an infamous arch-terrorist believed to be responsible for dozens of terror attacks against Israelis. According to top Jerusalem sources, Arouri was also heavily involved in Hamas’s attempt to overthrow Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas’s government in the West Bank over the summer. The plot, which included a network of 96 terrorists, was foiled by Israeli intelligence.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is a staunch supporter of the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas’s parent group. Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon warned of Turkey’s close ties with Hamas during a recent visit to the U.S.

“Turkey is playing a cynical game. Hamas is sponsored by Turkey and Qatar, and the former is a NATO member. It’s inconceivable that this terror group would be allowed to have two headquarters—one in the Gaza Strip and the other in Istanbul,” Ya’alon said.

  5. Number of Women From West Becoming Jihadi Brides Rises: German Official

“The number of women traveling to Syria and Iraq has significantly increased, at least in comparison to a few years ago when young people went to Afghanistan and Pakistan,” Maassen added.

Asked about the threat posed by such women returning to the West, Maassen said it was unclear “whether they would be willing to commit an attack here or if they only see themselves in the role of a supporting Islamic wife.”

Officials say that more than 550 people have left Germany for Syria and Iraq. The BfV is currently monitoring 180 people who have returned to Germany from the ISIS conflict zone.

Maassen also highlighted the importance of cooperation with the United States, describing the relationship as “good and trustful.”

  6. SPAIN – Cordoba – Google Maps puts “Mosque” back into Córdoba monument’s name

Word Heritage Site was simply listed as “Cathedral,” sparking a row and an online campaign

For a while, the Mezquita-Catedral de Córdoba (Mosque-Cathedral of Córdoba) disappeared from Google Maps. The famous monument was being described simply as Catedral de Córdoba, even on the dot that signals its location on the map.

A group of citizens is demanding that ownership of the monument be passed into public hands to stop the bishops’ attempts to wipe out traces of its Islamic past

On Monday, this group started a petition on Change.org asking Google not to be “an accomplice to this strategy of appropriation by the Córdoba diocese.”

Google is investigating why the original name was changed in the first place

The Andalusian chief of tourism and trade, Rafael Rodríguez, expressed concern over the deletion of the word “Mezquita” and said that he would ask Google for explanations.

The mayor of Córdoba said that he has spoken with the director general of Google Spain, who “has always been ready to help and has executed solutions immediately.”

Nieto confirmed that Google wants to use the monument’s official name, as approved by the city council, which is Mezquita-Catedral de Córdoba.
