Defence sources indicated last night that soldiers from the elite fighting unit have eliminated ‘up to eight terrorists per day’ in the daring raids, carried out during the past four weeks.
Until now, it had been acknowledged only that the SAS was operating in a reconnaissance role in Iraq and was not involved in combat. But The Mail on Sunday has learned that small groups of soldiers are being dropped into IS territory in RAF Chinook helicopters – to take on the enemy.

A WOMAN sexually assaulted by Nafees Hamid told the Birmingham Mail: “I was in a state of panic.”
The 26 year-old was the first victim to report his offending to police after he attacked her during a visit she made to Priory Hospital in Edgbaston for a consultation about back pain.
She confided in her family following the abuse and then alerted police.
Within hours Hamid, 51, was arrested at his Moseley home.
The doctor who also abused patients at Queen Elizabeth Hospital was jailed for 16 years yesterday (November 18).
“I was terrified and froze to the spot ? I felt like a little child, powerless to do anything. “My whole body went numb and I couldn’t move.

After a two-year investigation, the bipartisan House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence released its report on Benghazi. The report contains a total of 17 findings, most of which focus on the behavior of the intelligence community. Some of the report’s findings are at odds with reporting by major news organizations, including Fox, CNN, and the NY Times.

So incredibly brave, makes my heart flutter.
They are one of the best at waging war, now if they can just find the right political leader to ensure their survival.
Or at least not an avowed enemy.

Great news about the SAS. Only about fifteen years to go to get them all at that rate.
Joking aside, this will last at least that many years more, and chalk up at least a couple of million dead before abating.
I can see a point years in the future where non-muslim countries give in and collectively just carpet bomb the entire place. Everything else will be tried first, and will fail. And then muslims will really be shouting about it being a ‘Crusade against Islam’. And by that time it probably will be in reality.

Sen. Lindsey Graham: GOP-led Benghazi report is ‘full of crap’
Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-South Carolina, has some harsh words for the recently released Benghazi report, led by his own party.
“I think the report is full of crap,” Graham told Gloria Borger on CNN’s “State of the Union” on Sunday.
“I don’t believe that the report is accurate, given the role that Mike Morell (deputy director of the Central Intelligence Agency at the time) played in misleading the Congress on two different occasions. Why didn’t the report say that?”
The investigative report Graham is referring to was released Friday by House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Rogers, R-Michigan, and Ranking Member Rep. Dutch Ruppersberger, D-Maryland.
The report finds little to support the questions that have been raised about CIA actions on the ground in Benghazi the night of the deadly attack on September 11, 2012.
Graham, who has maintained a critical voice in the Benghazi controversy over the past two years, says it’s “garbage” that the report finds no members of the Obama administration lied to cover up what happened in Benghazi.
“That’s a bunch of garbage,” Graham said. “That’s a complete bunch of garbage.”
The investigation also found the security at the diplomatic outpost was weak and also described a “flawed” process used to create talking points for House members and for then-U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice, whose public statements after the attack incensed critics who said the administration was trying to avoid calling the attack terrorism.
“When Susan Rice was on television after the attack, she said on three different occasions the consulate was strongly, and significantly secure,” Graham said. “Nothing could be further than that from the truth, and there’s nothing in the talking points about the level of security.”
To conclude, Graham says the findings of the report prove the House Intelligence Committee “is doing a lousy job policing their own.”
“Anybody who has followed Benghazi at all knows that the CIA deputy director did not come forward to tell Congress what role he played in changing the talking points and the only way we knew he was involved is when he told a representative at the White House,” Graham said.
Asked why the Republican chairman of the Intelligence Committee would be “buying a bunch of garbage,” Graham simply replied, “good question.”
Graham said he is going to take another look at the findings of the report.
“I’m going to do a hard review of this.”

Kenya says kills over 100 attackers behind bus ambush that killed 28
Kenyan security forces have pursued and killed more than 100 militants and destroyed their camp in Somalia after the ambush of a Nairobi-bound bus that killed 28 people, Deputy President William Ruto said on Sunday.
“Two successful operations were carried out against the perpetrators of these murderous executions across the border. Our retaliatory action left in its trail more than 100 fatalities,” Ruto told a news conference in Nairobi.
Ruto said a camp used by the attackers and four “technicals” – pick-up trucks mounted with guns – were also destroyed.
