1. Blind woman thrown out of Tesco in the UK and told never to come back because she had a guide dog.

(To be honest, I am not sure which is more infuriating. The way a muslim store treated a blind woman or the idea that a grocery store has an “equality department’)

2. Families are stopping UK jihadists, says counter terrorism chief

“Dozens” of UK families have contacted police in a bid to stop their relatives travelling to Syria, Scotland Yard’s head of counter-terrorism has said.

Assistant Commissioner Mark Rowley said officers had been “really heartened” having appealed to families this year.

The terror threat now featured a “new dimension”, he said, amid growing fears over the influence of Islamic State.

Mr Rowley said police were now removing more than 1,000 pieces of extremist material from the internet every week.

4. Terror-related crime ‘stretches police’ – Scotland Yard

(I have a suggestion to fix that problem. Scotland Yard should refuse to deal with terrorism and related activities as it is not a criminal justice problem but a political-military one. Scotland yard can then probably clean up all actual crime in the UK with available resources!)

Police are being “stretched” by an “exceptionally high” number of inquiries into Islamist-related extremism, Scotland Yard has said.

Assistant Commissioner Mark Rowley also said “dozens” of UK families had sought police help in stopping relatives travelling to Syria.

He spoke of a “step-change” in counter-terrorism as foreign conflicts such as the one in Syria attract UK nationals.

Mr Rowley said the challenge for police would “run for years”.

There have been 218 terrorism-related arrests in the UK this year, with 16 people charged with alleged extremist activity in Syria.

5. CDC lies about the 2nd health care worker who contracted Ebola claiming she should not have gotten on the airplane, then it emerges that the nurse called the CDC and they specifically told her it would be OK to board the plane.

7. The massive explosion in Greely Ont. a suburb of Ottawa Canada has fallen down the media black hole. There has not been a single new report about it now this week. The last thing was Sunday when police said it was deliberately caused, well actually they started referring to it as a ‘fire’ even though the explosion could be heard 25 kilometers away! (About 15 miles) The police also said it was not a grow up or a meth lab. But its been radio silence ever since.

8. Brian Lilley busts some students demonstrating their astonishing racism by their opinion that no non-Western person is sufficiently capable of agency and therefore, Western civilization is ultimately responsible for the Islamic State.

Thank you UK Pete, Wrath of Khan, M., GoV., and more.

  1. Hello there…..its me again…….Don Laird…..

I hate to be the bearer of bad news……..

CBC called me…….in regards to my objection to the refusal of our government to stop flights and cargo from areas of Africa affected by Ebola…..seems they have deemed me a new strain of “filthy intolerant racist”……..otherwise known as a “Islamo-Bola-Phobe”

I was quite impressed……say it a few times and notice how it sorta rolls off the tongue.

    ISLAMO-BOLA-PHOBE………

    • Extract of letter addressed to Mr Laird but lost in post:

“Your continued assertion that all strains of Ebola are bad, is speciest in the extreme. You have not cited the benign five-times to the bathroom strain or the psychedelic-mutation that keeps people from employment; but because it came from eating off the brains of just one monkey, you assert it is not good for all human kind. ”

(The personal ad hominems and threatening of biological fauna have been removed).

      • @Perfectchild…..

        Here…..meet a “speciest”

The kind of self loathing, politically correct, Leftist/Liberal, white-guilt junkie animal rights freak who will spew this lunacy and then happily wander on down to the abortion clinic to rid herself of a “minor inconvenience”.

By the way……..her “little girl” is a chicken.

Welcome to Western Civilization……no wonder the Muslim hates us and enjoys wiping us off the planet.

  2. Alarm after vomiting passenger dies on flight from Nigeria to JFK

A plane from Nigeria landed at JFK Airport Thursday with a male passenger aboard who had died during the flight after a fit of vomiting — and CDC officials conducted a “cursory” exam before announcing there was no Ebola and turning the corpse over to Port Authority cops to remove, Rep. Peter King said on Thursday.

[…]The unnamed, 63-year-old passenger had boarded an Arik Air plane out of Lagos, Nigeria, on Wednesday night, a federal law enforcement source said.

During the flight, the man had been vomiting in his seat, the source said. Some time before the plane landed, he passed away. Flight crew contacted the CDC, federal customs officials and Port Authority police, who all boarded the plane at around 6 a.m. as about 145 worried passengers remained on board, the source said.

[…]“My understanding was that the passenger was vomiting in the seat,” King (R-LI) said. “The CDC went on the plane, examined the dead body and said the person did not have Ebola,” King said.

“It was what I was told a cursory examination. The Port Authority cops and personnel from Customs and Border Protection were there, and they were told there was no danger because the person did not have Ebola,” King said.

“But their concern was, how could you tell so quickly? And what adds to the concern is how wrong the CDC has been over the past few weeks.”

  3. 8/ ‘I think American imperialism and our protection of oil interests in the Middle East are destabilizing the region and allowing groups like ISIS to gain power.’

‘As a Western civilization, we’re to blame for a lot of the problems that we’re facing now. I don’t think anyone would argue that we didn’t create the problem of ISIS ourselves.’

These goldfish swim in a bowl whose size and décor and low-information feeding schedule the Frankfurt School prepared for their intellectual grandparents. Here they are, born into it and only dimly conscious of facts and analyses beyond the permissible intellectual limits they have always known better than to bump their heads against. That which they do perceive is blurred and distorted, sounds in languages they don’t speak, shapes and colours masked by their own reflections in the glass. When they bother to look, they see a world of ideas just like theirs though less substantial, only reacting really to their more solid selves. Such travel as they do won’t help, the bowl goes with them.

Herbert Marcuse polished the refracting glass in his 1964 ‘One-Dimensional Man: Studies in the Ideology of Advanced Industrial Society.’ The introduction to the 2nd edition describes how he ‘slices through the ideological celebrations of capitalism and sharply criticizes:

‘the dehumanization and alienation in its opulence and affluence,

‘the slavery in its labor system,

‘the ideology and indoctrination in its culture,

    ‘the fetishism in its consumerism,

‘and the danger and insanity in its military-industrial complex.’

Western civilization inhibits attainment of some ill-defined condition Marcuse calls ‘liberation.’ He concludes that:

‘despite its achievements, “this society is irrational as a whole.

‘Its productivity is destructive of the free development of human needs and faculties.

“Its growth [is] dependent on the repression of the real possibilities for pacifying the struggle for existence–individual, national and international”

‘During the late 1960s and early 1970s, Marcuse’s work was probably the most influential social theory of its day.’ Its pernicious effects live on in what these Harvard students would get by osmosis even if they weren’t fed it in class. It was not what was called for in the fight of free people against international communism, and is certainly no defense now against an Islam pleased to find the lid off the bowl and considering which silly fish to eat next.

      • That Kinsey Scale is a model for this type of cultural subversion. Take any normal response or behaviour (no lust for sheep = 0) and round up some examples of its perversion (lust for sheep = 6). Since one is a sort of opposite of the other, they must therefore be opposing extremes on a sliding scale. Normal is revealed to be what we secretly knew it was all along, but had to pretend we didn’t because capitalism is evil – moderate or average lust for sheep = 3.

I see suggestions here and there of links (as it were) with the Frankfurters with their enthusiasm for polymorphous perversity.

    • Yes my error. I was thinking at the time of how often Tesco is in the news for problems Muslim employees create, or policies for muslim values and against others.

  4. #5 CDC lied . . . or misunderstood? Amber Vinson should NOT have flown TO Ohio while under self-quarantine. Yes, she called the CDC – several times, as a matter of fact. However, she did not make those calls until it became unavoidably obvious she may be in trouble, given her fever. Reports suggest she had a low grade fever on her return trip…was her fever medicated to stay low enough to obtain permission to fly BACK to Texas? Should this young woman survive this horrific ordeal, she’ll be lucky if her nursing license isn’t called up for review . . .all because she chose to throw caution to the wind in order to continue planning her wedding uninterrupted – all these folks lives have been altered unnecessarily:
Akron bridal store closed after Ebola patient Amber Joy Vinson visited

Canton nurses on same plane as Amber Vinson treated 13 patients at Aultman hospital on paid leave.

Tallmadge home where Ebola patient Amber Vinson stayed cordoned off by police Her stepfather self quarantined after Vinson tested positive for the Ebola virus on Tuesday.

Akron’s Resnik elementary school evacuated amid Ebola scare after public health officials told the district Vinson had come into contact with the parent of a student this weekend.

KPTV.com 10/16 report on aircraft used for Vinsons return flight

“”Frontier has taken the aircraft out of service. The plane was flown Wednesday without passengers from Cleveland to Denver, where the airline said it will undergo a fourth cleaning, including replacement of seat covers, carpeting and air filters.”

How does the media characterize Vinson after this fiasco?
NBCNews headline: ‘Conscientious’ Ebola Nurse Amber Vinson Stayed Close to Home in Ohio…you just can’t make this stuff up!

Texas-Based Carnival Magic Cruise Ship Stuck At Sea With 4,633 Passengers and Dallas Healthcare Worker With Ebola Symptoms – Belize Refuses Port Entry – Belizeans Saying “Sink Ship” – Armed Belize Coast Guard Keeping Ship At Sea…
The video segment included in this report suggests the passenger in question is travelling with another person as ‘two’ passengers are mentioned by the reporter.

    BusinessInsider:
Health Worker Who May Have Had Contact With Ebola Patient Is On A Cruise Ship Right Now

Belizean: Belize confirms patient with Ebola symptoms on cruise ship off it’s coast

The GoB reassures the public that the passenger never set foot in Belize and while we remain in close contact with U.S. officials we have maintained the position that when even the smallest doubt remains, we will ensure the health and safety of the Belizean people.

This is something the current CDC would never say. It is absolutely criminal.

  6. BBC- Libya’s government holed up in a 1970s hotel

Three years after Western military intervention helped topple Col Muammar Gaddafi, many believe Libya is rapidly turning into a failed state. There are two rival governments, and the parliament elected in June has been forced to flee from hostile militias – to a grey concrete 1970s hotel near the Egyptian border.

They’ve been chosen to rule a vast country that holds Africa’s biggest oil reserves.

They represent the democratic future of a land the world helped free from tyranny.

But three years after the fall of Gaddafi, Libya’s new members of parliament can’t get on with the job. They’re trapped in a grey, concrete hotel in a remote port 1,000km (620 miles) from the capital, Tripoli – fighting a lonely battle, they believe, against the forces of militant Islamism.[…]

[…]”If the Islamic militants take over Libya one day, what will happen? It’s two hours (across the sea) from here to Italy, Crete can be seen from here on a clear evening… If someone has the means to deliver rockets, the means to deliver destruction to Europe, they can do it from this side if they have control.”

In small, isolated Tobruk, they believe the West must be blind not to see that danger. Western diplomats are trying to broker peace talks in Libya – but there’s been little progress yet. And Western governments, now preoccupied with Syria and Iraq, aren’t keen on further military involvement in the country.

The strategic black hole that’s opening up on the southern shores of the Mediterranean is unlikely to be filled with a working state any time soon.

  7. Iraqi premier to visit Iran Monday

Iraq’s Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi is scheduled to visit Iran on top of a high-ranking delegation on Monday, an Iraqi source says.

Abadi will be accompanied by his ministers of oil, electricity, economy and commerce, the source told IRNA on Thursday.

During the visit, the Iraqi delegation will meet Iranian officials to discuss key regional issues as well as bilateral relations.

Apart from Iran’s support for Iraq in its fight against terrorism, which includes providing humanitarian aid and military consultation to Baghdad, the two neighboring states have extensive economic ties, particularly in the field of technical and engineering services.

At present, Iranian companies are implementing different projects in Iraq, including civil engineering projects as well as construction of gas pipelines, power plants and electricity grids in the country, and unlike other countries, they have not suspended their activities over concerns about the ISIL threats in Iraq.

Tehran-Baghdad trade currently stands at USD 4.2 billion, according to official data.

The two countries also enjoy remarkable tourism ties, with nearly 1.3 million Iranian pilgrims visiting Iraq annually.

In the last Iranian year, nearly 1.7 million Iraqis traveled to Iran

  9. Obama Raving That America Is a Muslim Country

You would think, considering that he presumes to rule it largely through executive order, that Obama would learn a few basics about America — like for example that it is not a Muslim country, as he claimed on French TV:
