Some interesting events and opinions: Links 3 for Oct. 13 – 2014

1. Bill Whittle does first video that actually angers me at him. It is too short.
This one is about the ‘Barber of Oklahoma,’ and while Mr. Whittle gets some very important thoughts in about this he misses two critical things.
A. He demanded that his coworkers call him “Mohamed”. B. There are already a myriad of stories being suppressed in the USA about Islamic actions. My favorite one, as it were, is this one. But there are so very many more I couldn’t possibly list them all from memory, and those are the ones where enough info got out that I even am aware of them at all.

2. This video claims that The Islamic State is using chemical weapons against people in Kobani

3. Rotherham child sex abuse files ‘go missing from council archive’

(As the UK slips closer and closer to sharia compliancy)

Four years of crucial files on child sex abuse in Rotherham have gone missing from a council archive, it was revealed today.

4. Truck containing 18 tons of Crisco sticks is stolen

(This story I find very disturbing. I am going Gates of Vienna does a thorough post on it. But for the moment one only needs to read the 6th line of the first paragraph of this link to get why this is a disturbing story)

5. Followup: Person in hospital in Ottawa suspected of having Ebola has been cleared. No word on the person in Belleville however.

6. More on potential chem-weapons use by the Islamic State against the Kurds in Kobani

7. Michael Coren with guest who has recent info on Islamic State atrocities in Kobani

8. Turkey, despite US triumphalism on the subject, has denied the US access to American airbases within Turkey.

[…] The latest row concerns the key question of whether Turkey, which hosts a sprawling American air base, will let U.S. warcraft fly from it into Iraq and Syria to batter the militant group. U.S. officials said Sunday that Ankara had given the green light. Less than a day later, Turkish officials categorically denied that they’d agreed to allow their bases to be used against the terror group. […]

9. Ezra Levant does a fantastic clip showing the contemptibility of the vast vast majority of Canada’s big media.

Thank you Oz-Rita, Don Laird, Shabnam, M., and everyone.

  1. #4 Missing Crisco . . .meet:
Fox: Radioactive material cleaned from Boise apartment; Nuclear Regulatory Commission investigating 10/13/2014
He said there was no threat to the public, but it’s unclear how long the cleanup will take. He said the material on the stairs and sidewalk likely came from liquid dripping from something.
Weigel said the apartment’s two occupants for unknown reasons were trying to separate and isolate radioactive material from store-bought goods such as smoke detectors and radium dials on instruments. The apartment also contained uranium ore.

The occupants’ names were not released, and Weigel said the two agreed to move out of the apartment while it is made safe. Other residents at the apartment complex have been allowed to remain.

  2. #4 Missing Crisco . . .According to this report, the semi was stolen from a U-Haul Rental location, “Coastal Towing” in St. Petersburg, a U-Haul rental location – isn’t that a rather odd location for a large grocery chain to be loading one shelf item:
St. Petersburg Tribune: Semi with 18 tons of Crisco stolen in St. Pete

The rig was reported stolen Sunday morning from Coastal Towing, 2390 118th Ave. N., police said.
In additon, another tractor-trailer filled with boxes from Amazon’s Ruskin distribution center had been burglarized, police said. A number of boxes were opened and the contents taken.

Tampa/St. Petersburg area of Florida has a history of nefarious jihad activity.
Recall also, that back in 2004, St. Petersburg college employees notified the FBI of four men of ME description who attempted to purchase surplus ambulances & police cruisers and then vanished link.

  3. The Crisco could be destined for the black market but the other possibility must be kept in mind.

      • Depends on who stole it and who owns the markets it would be sold at, this would cut out one step and give the stores a good 10% or grater increase in their profit for that item. Or it could be a insurance scam to sell the Margarine and collect the insurance at the same time.

    • l;Obama has been doing that all of his life, why McCain wouldn’t allow Sarah Palin to bring this fact out during the campaign is a real big mystery.
