1. The RCMP throws the so-called anti-terrorism booklet back at the National Council of Canadian Muslims and its Islamist allies

(Another excellent article from Point De Bascule)

*** In spite of having tried to associate the RCMP to many radical Muslim scholars on page 13 of her booklet, including two, Siraj Wahaj and Hamza Yusuf, who have defended a cop-killer in the U.S., Shahina Siddiqui (wearing a white blouse) is still “a member of the RCMP Commissioner’s National Advisory Committee on Diversity as well as the RCMP Commanding Officers’ Diversity Committee, D-Division in Manitoba.” ***

After many commentators complained to the RCMP and in the media about its endorsement of a so-called anti-terrorism booklet praising numerous radical Muslim scholars, the RCMP issued a press release to officially distance itself from the document that bears its logo.

2. The United States continues to move towards a totalitarian state run by and for the political elite and not the people.

9. Egypt militant group threatens deadly attacks during Eid holiday

(Well what did they expect? that they would threaten a bake sale?)

Egypt’s deadliest militant group has vowed fresh deadly attacks against security forces next week during the country’s major Muslim feast.

In a video released online, Ansar Beit Al-Maqdis, threatened killings against the police would take place Saturday, the first day of the Eid Al-Adha feast, saying it “will be a black day on the infidel interior minister and his associates.”

10. Ebola outbreak: ‘Five infected every hour’ in Sierra Leone

(I’m not very good at math so I need to ask other people. Should that number actually be climbing logarithmically or exponentially? Because if I understand the way disease works, I do not think it can possibly be linear)

A leading charity has warned that a rate of five new Ebola cases an hour in Sierra Leone means healthcare demands are far outstripping supply.

Save the Children said there were 765 new cases of Ebola reported in the West African state last week, while there are only 327 beds in the country.

Thank you WTD., M., Richard, Yucki, the list is quite long today but I have been working morning, noon and night on a particular project of some importance and I deeply hope that I can post it tomorrow. Its amazing how 16 minutes of content can easily take 48 hours of work. As a consequence, its hard to keep up with all the news and all the people who sent it in. Please don’t stop though. Regular programing should resume tomorrow.

  1. #2

    America is run by Communists.

    They state they are ex-Communists.

It is like an ex-Muslim working towards Moderate Islam. It never happens. Once you know the soul destruction designed to blind you, you will have nothing to do with it.

Ex-Communists peddling in Socialism? Diana West must be lolling in her cave.

    • And they are going to get worse, they have gotten away with so much they think they can do anything.

  2. #10: Logarithmic is the opposite (inverse function) of exponential. Logarithmic functions reduce large numbers to the smaller exponents representing the power the base is raised to. Exponential takes the base and raises it to the power of the exponent.

With disease its exponential infection and die off. The math is outside our scope here but basically in simple models some exponential function of the natural number “e” is the solution of the basic differential equations that describe the rate of infection, usually as a product of the methods used to obtain solutions to the systems of equations. Practically it tells you that its self reinforcing and grows ever more rapidly.

In actual terms its a runaway rate of infection as more and more individuals become infectious and spread the disease at ever faster rates to even greater numbers of individuals. An example of exponential numbers and growth is the “Wheat and chessboard problem”, which illustrates nicely how exponential systems take off.

    • This exponential occurs when there is no resistance.

For example, Islam against Hindus and Christians. But not against Sikhs.

I’m still wondering what badge to wear.

  3. #3 “Islam challenges us to make life a work of art.”

    – Norman O. Brown’s thesis in his 1981 lectures, ‘The Challenge of Islam.’ (Wikipedia)

The discussion of political correctness below was perhaps one of Bill Whittle’s sources for his Youtube presentation, ‘The Narrative – Political Correctness.’

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EjaBpVzOohs

At 16:50, Brown’s ‘Life Against Death’ (1959) is mentioned in connection with Marcuse’s ‘Eros and Civilization’ (1955). Both works stirred Freud into Marx as a means of feeding Frankfurt School ideas to the counterculture. The plan was for the ‘liberation of non-procreative Eros’ to make society happy and good, polymorphous perversity and narcissism paving the road to Utopia.

In 1966, Brown wrote ‘Love’s Body’ (which I remember was still around, if passe, in the 80s, and Camille Paglia says was influential and famous) “in order to torpedo ‘Life Against Death,’ to destroy it as a position.” Make-love-not-war Marcuse criticized ‘Love’s Body,’ but in the 1981 lectures – a response to the Iranian Revolution – Brown’s position is at least as evil as his earlier one, severed heads on fence posts being what Islam makes of life instead of art.

      • I found it helpful as well, and looking into the names and ideas has been filling in some blanks.

I think Perfectchild’s analysis of these connections is fertile thesis ground for any graduate student with a keen enough sense of direction to find his way to the edge and out of the great lifeless desert of Critical Theory.

        • Don C,

The Christian Bible may be seen as an interplay of Hellenist philosophy upon the Judaic Religion. For example, imagine Jesus came upon ISIS stoning a woman caught in adultery, and Jesus wrote in the sand saying “he who is without sin cast the first stone.” He is dealing with people of The Qu’ran, of worship of revered words, and not men of reason of Aristotle, Socrates and Plato. They would be Killing for Allah so they would not be killed and denied a booty-call in Heaven.

So my point is, humans have to first achieve an objectivity about themselves and the world around them. Otherwise they are creatures of the world.

This means realizing you are not God and grasping that God is never going to solve your problems for you. A huge step for people already programmed. The Buddhist school attempted the deprogramming until they became adept at programming too and it became a religion.

Therefore, rationality is not easy for billions of people as demonstrated. No wonder therefore the Greeks observed the workers were few.

So genetic intelligence and the intelligent application of brain development for its use and deployment is required. Clay and shaping. Fear is the key to inhibit it from developing normally, from gender intimidation used on Swedish children, to beheading in Islam in front of them.

The not so bright will always follow anything placed in front of them, led by any version of halal and haram such as to eat pork or not eat pork; so let the laws be justice based upon civilized higher-consciousness, rather than the shallow and debased lives under Communism, Fascism or Socialism: Demography, Demagoguery, Pornography.

The message of Jesus may have been to pacify the warlike, murderous and revolting Jews, with a fictional narrative and account to give them a messiah preaching love instead of the elitism of The Chosen People.
The Gospel of The Mardhi therefore would have to equally pacify and sedate the Muslims. As there are no reporters in Iraq, tell the tale of the miracles there… Of the suffering imam to take on the scales of their sins and set them free, if only they believe it…
          Upon his death:
The ISIS warrior on the way to Tehran.
“Mohammad, Mohammad why have you forsaken me?”
          “Who are you Boss?”
          “I am your Mardhi…”
“But isn’t Jesus pbuh meant to come first”
“That was Obama if you have eyes to see…”
          “Oh, yeah”
Such is history and the priests who will retell it every Friday.

With modern audiences, Ron L Hubbard had to go into space-history for a remote location where the deeds could seem plausible, as everyone knows miracles only happened back then.

      • yucki, good find, nice to be able to look it over as text.

It’s astonishing not only how comprehensively successful these heretical Marxists have been, but how well they hid their tracks. How much better in every way to have known this background in countless bitter confrontations with leftists over the years.

        • Perfectchild, I saw a headline yesterday suggesting that Muslims were susceptible to belief in space aliens. Perhaps there’s an angle there, and the U.S. could consider landing one of those UFOs they have near Dabiq with a space-prophet to release the Mohammedans from their bondage.

I could almost be persuaded the brain is plastic enough for Muslims to wake up from their hypnosis en masse. But my day to day experience of them is very discouraging. I only see glimmers of hope here and there, usually in women. It’s really too bad Islam isn’t just a little bit like what the nicer ones somehow manage to think it is.

      • Some of the websites that reading list links to are deeply dismaying. These people impede understanding.

Wikipedia actually has a page called ‘Frankfurt School conspiracy theory.’

  4. Here is an example of garbage about Islam that has replaced education about Islam in the universities.

Norman O. Brown gave these Islam-is-life-as-art lectures in 1981. This 2012 review of their republication is by someone called Basit Kareem Iqbal, apparently at the time in Toronto. It appeared in the journal ‘Islam and Science,’ which is published by The Center for Islamic Sciences based (according to Wikipedia) in ‘Alberta, Canada.’ Possible Lenin-clone Hamza Yousuf Hanson (linked in the Pointe de Bascule article in #1 above) is on the international editorial advisory board. The president is a Pakistani-Canadian chemist/’scholar of Islam’ named Muzaffar Iqbal.

    From the review:

Lecture 4, “The Book,” proves “a homage to the Qur?an.” Brown deeply understands the ijaz of the Qur?an. He describes Islam’s distinct “theology of the Word:” the primordial logos is scripture, not spoken; it is not unambiguously speech but is an arche-writing, the well-guarded Tablet prior to the division between speech and writing. He cites Derrida here, and Mallarme, and Vico, but does not press the point; he does not, as is tempting these days, suggest that Islam somehow prefigured various periods of Western literary criticism or philosophy.

Most of his comparative references are to Joyce, due only to whom (he says) Westerners can dimly apprehend the event of the Quran. For the Quran, he says, like Finnegan’s Wake, effects a “destruction of human language”—the Quran reveals language as “crushed,” citing Nasr, “by the power of the Divine Word.” This is the destruction of meaning and the semiotics of representation, turned entirely to an untranslatable event of effective (performative) force. Comparing Nietzsche’s “aphoristic fragmentation” and contrasting Dante’s closed structure with the Quran’s more fluid simultaneous totality, Brown reflects on its challenges to Western readers. The Quran is a “break” with mimesis, with realism. If Homer and the Bible (Auerbach) have “taught us to trust narrative, have given us the idea that understanding takes the form of a story…and that history is the story of what actually happened,” the Quran rather “is a thunderclap putting an end to that.” Its narratives differ: God is not an actor in eschatological dramas. Islam’s scripture instead “abruptly retracts the historicity of God. Beyond drama, beyond irony…the sublime.”

  5. #7 The use of good/common sense in handling things like Ebola has been called violation of the rights of the Ebola victims, the PC crowd would rather that all of Western Civ be destroyed by a pandemic rather then quarantine and test the people arriving from nations with Ebola running wild.

  6. “I ask all the men and women of Europe to open the doors of their hearts,” Francis said. “I want to let you know I’m near you, I pray for you, and I pray that doors that are closed are opened.”

Why not leave people alone to think for themselves?
