If wishes are halal, muslims could eat at our expense: News links 3 for Sept. 22 – 2014

1. I’m not sure if I have posted this before. I know there is an almost identical story out of Ottawa about a food bank demanding to have halal food and trying to guilt people who contribute food to it at their own expense into giving halal chicken etc. But it made me angry like it did the first time I read it so I am posting it again. Watch the video. Something tells me this is part of an organized effort to make islam supreme as is so much else taking place everywhere. Its too arrogant to be the initiative of one person and its happening in multiple cities.

2. Missing Afghan soldiers detained at Canada-U.S. border

BOSTON — Three Afghan National Army officers who went missing during a training exercise at a Cape Cod military base were detained Monday at the U.S.-Canadian border, Massachusetts law enforcement officials said.

Massachusetts state police were notified that the three were being questioned by federal authorities at Rainbow Bridge, which connects Niagara Falls, N.Y. and Niagara Falls, Ont., said spokesman David Procopio, who did not have further details.

There was no immediate comment from the Pentagon.

3. Turkey accused of colluding with Isis to oppose Syrian Kurds and Assad following surprise release of 49 hostages

Mystery surrounds the surprise release of 49 Turkish diplomats and their families held captive for three months by Isis. The Turkish government is denying any deal with the hostage-takers, making it unclear why Isis, notorious for its cruelty and ruthlessness, should hand over its Turkish prisoners on Saturday without a quid pro quo.

4. Islamic State threatens to do the usual to French hostage

“If you can kill a disbelieving American or European – especially the spiteful and filthy French – or an Australian, or a Canadian or any other disbeliever… including the citizens of the countries that entered into a coalition against the Islamic State, then rely upon Allah, and kill him,” said IS spokesman Abu Mohammed al-Adnani.

“Kill the disbeliever whether he is civilian or military,” he said in the message, which was released in multiple

5. Sixteen minute VICE NEWS video ’embedded’ with Islamic State fighters in Syria.

VICE NEWS  – Aleppo is Syria’s largest metropolitan area and a millennia-old commercial capital. Today, however, it is a relative ghost town, threatened by regime bombing from the air and a militant offensive on the ground.

For two weeks this summer, VICE News embedded with the Islamic Front, a coalition of Islamist rebels fighting the forces of President Bashar al-Assad on one hand and Islamic State militants on the other. From their secret tunnels beneath the ancient city to their threatened frontline outposts in Aleppo’s ruined medieval center, we followed the Islamic Front as it battled against overwhelming odds to retain control of the capital of the Syrian revolution.

8. U.S. airstrikes hit ISIS inside Syria for first time

(CNN) — U.S. jets began airstrikes in the ISIS stronghold of Raqqa, Syria, early Tuesday, the first strikes against the terror group inside the country since President Barack Obama’s announcement this month that he was prepared to expand the American efforts beyond targets in Iraq, a U.S. official told CNN.

All foreign partners participating in the strikes with the United States are Arab countries, a senior U.S. military official told CNN. Those nations are Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Jordan.

  1. Arab Bank found liable by US court in Hamas attacks (BBC, Sept 22, 2014)
    http://www.bbc.com/news/business-29316080

“A New York jury has found Arab Bank liable for providing material support to Hamas. As a result, the Jordan-based bank must provide compensation to victims of nearly two dozen terrorist attacks that Hamas carried out in Israel and Palestine in the early 2000s. Nearly 300 American victims of those attacks had sued Arab Bank in 2004. The case was closely watched as it was the first-ever terrorism financing civil case to go to trial in the US. A date has not yet been set to determine the total amount of compensation that the bank must pay.

Arab Bank, which has an estimated $46bn (£28bn) in assets, was the first bank to face a trial under the US Anti-Terrorism Act. The prosecution had said that Arab Bank knowingly kept accounts for Hamas operatives, and financed millions of dollars in payments to members of suicide bombers’ families during the second intifada uprising of the early 2000s. Arab Bank executives maintained that they were not aware that the bank had dealings with extremists. The Brooklyn jury deliberated for two days after the conclusion of the six-week trial before coming to their conclusion.”

  2. Hello there….its me again……Don Laird….

In the Vice video “Ghosts of Aleppo, Part 1” at the 14:50 mark a local leader makes a curious and perhaps prophetic remark…….about IS reaching Europe.

With the number of Muslims in Europe, the United Kingdom and North America, if they all were to follow, or even if a small portion of them were to follow, the edicts of the senior commanders within IS……we would be dead….all of us.

This certainly, this discussion would be a great subject for a Blogtalkradio segment.

    • The BBC ‘Battle for Iraq and Syria in Maps’ has a bar graph showing more foreign fighters in Syria and Iraq are from secular moderate Tunisia than anywhere else. I think it’s a switch that will always there to be flipped, moderate to ‘extremist,’ i.e. non-practicing to practicing, so long as Islam goes unchallenged and Muslims are not forced to confront the real nature of their belief system.

      • @Don C

No offense Don….but you had better look around you, its getting serious and there is no thing for certain….we will be on our own.

I actually, to a great extent, agree with the politics and warning of this FoxTV talking head…..she’s got a point Don…..one to heed.

Make preparations, don’t head for the hills, but be cautious and make subtle preparations. You won’t regret it.

Watch this….yes its mildly hysterical….but read between the lines and heed the warnings.

There is direction being given groups in North America, there will be deadly efficacy to “lone-wolf” attacks, a concept of “leaderless resistance”……look to yourself Don C…..you are very much on your own.

        • I like that term “Leaderless Resistance” Don.

I first saw it fully expressed when On the afternoon of 22 May 2013, a British Army soldier, Fusilier Drummer Lee Rigby of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, was murdered by a Mohammedan, and his Prime Minister said it had nothing to do with the NAZIs Islam. “Leaderless Resistance” abdication of responsibility, washing his hands of the matter, by declaring “Lone Wolves”.

This is why you have to prepare to defend yourself. The Socialist ideology created by the Communists to produce a power vacuum have succeeded and the Nationalists and Internationalists are competing to fill it.

        • While driving I came across a dumpster blocking a road. The Orthodox Jew in the car turning into the road at the crossroad could not turn into it but by going straight and turning right could join up with the main road. Instead he held everyone else up and then slipped behind it as it traveled a few feet.
Often observing his community not bother to park further up but double-park to get their shopping, I do not see arrogance but a conditioning to be left-brain hemisphered and not aware. (The Muslim would have taken the kufar driver of the dumpster out in a fit of rage).

I was told of a teenager expelled from school for agressive abuse of a boy four years his junior. He came across the youngster fighting another. He said to them ‘stop fighting, would you like me to do this to you?’
When the teachers came along, one boy accused the older of hitting him. Protesting his innocence three teachers determined what he said was a threat of violence.

These two events present the way the two brain hemispheres function in isolation.

When the people are retarded, that nation becomes totalitarian.

The linear fearless left-brain or the distracted fearing offence right-brain.

(2b) Thom 106:1. Jesus said, “When you make the two into one, you will become children of Adam.”

Your Prophets and Messiah cults do not want this.

        • The leaderless resistance can work buy only if enough people are fed up and willing to go on the attack. Yes I agree that is rapidly happening.

  3. 8/ Is the Muslim Brotherhood network in the U.S. able to keep Islamic State informed of the bombing itinerary? Or do they see IS as competition or an unwelcome spotlight on the nature of Islam.

    • Probably both, they may dislike them for telling the truth about Islam but will warn them when the Infidels are about to attack.

  4. @Perfectchild…..

    I like your mind.

I never thought of the term in that context, but yes….that’s one concept.

Good point, another helping of “FFT” on my plate. (Food For Thought”

  5. Sep 23 2014 – AUSTRALIA – Melbourne shooting victim who attacked police ‘brandished ISIL flag’

An 18-year-old Melbourne man who met with counter-terrorism police brandished an ISIL flag before attacking them with a knife and being fatally shot, the Australian Federal Police said.

The man was invited to meet a Victoria Police officer and AFP officer at the Endeavour Hills police station on Heatherton Road in order to discuss his recent “disturbing behaviour”, police have said.

He was not being placed under arrest and attended of his own free will.

After travelling to the station alone, a confrontation between the man and the Joint Counter Terrorism Team officers began at about 7.45pm.

Police said he had pulled out an “edged weapon” and attacked the officers.

The AFP officer was stabbed multiple times and the Victoria Police officer was stabbed twice in the forearm.

The Victorian officer pulled his sidearm and fired a single shot, fatally wounding the 18-year-old.

Both officers were taken to hospital and are in a stable condition.

An AFP spokesman said current intelligence suggested the shooting victim had brandished a black ISIL flag prior to the confrontation.

However, police said it appeared to be an isolated incident and the man had acted alone.

They did not disclose why the 18-year-old had been asked to meet counter-terrorism officers, but said he was known to police and had previously been monitored.

A Victoria Police spokesman said during a press conference he would “face criticism” for revealing so much of the circumstances of the police shooting, but said he felt the community needed to know “specific groups” were not being targeted by police.

Police sources told Sky News the man shot dead had made threats against Prime Minister Tony Abbott who is on his way to a UN Security Council meeting in New York.

Australia’s terror alert level has been raised this month after intelligence agencies captured chatter pointing to a domestic attack.

AFP has also been involved in anti-terror raids across NSW and Queensland.

  6. US military and partner states carried air strikes against self-proclaimed Islamic State (IS) targets in Syria, Tuesday, using guided-missile cruiser USS Philippine Sea (CG 58) to launch Tomahawk Land-Attack Missiles (TLAM).

The cruiser was deployed as part of the USS George H.W. Bush (CVN 77) Carrier Strike Group in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility..

This is the first US air assault on Syrian territory and is yet to receive the formal consent of the Syrian government. The city of Raqqa has been heavily targeted in the attack, as well as parts of Aleppo. So far eight civilian, three of them children have been confirmed dead.

US officials have refused to confirm the ‘partner nations’ coordinating the air strikes with their military
