Rocket sirens sounded in Jerusalem, Mevasseret, Beit Shemesh, Gush Etzion, Ashdod, Rechovot, Be’er Sheva, Ashkelon, Har Hebron as Gaza terrorists launched a barrage of 30 long-range missiles at Israel. Approximately 70 rockets and missiles were launched at Israel between noon and 10 pm, with 10 of the missiles launched between 8 pm and 9 pm.

I have just heard from a Jewish friend that they blame the wife of Netanyaho for having held him back from taking real action before it is too late.
And it’s pretty late now. I am fully on the side of Israel and the Jewish people – just in case this statement does them some good, and just in case this has not been clear yet. I hope they realise soon that the enemy towards whom they have held out a hand for peace only want to cut it of and that they seriously have run out of offer them yet another cheek.
Israel and the IDF are OUR last protection from the nastiest and most terminally destructive “regimes” to go berserk globally. If I was a knitter, I would start right now, knitting many socks for the brave IDF.
And no, I am not Jewish.
P.S.: I am convinced the only ones willing, courageous enough and able to stop Tard Nuclear attacks (Iran comes to mind) are Israel. So, whatever our schtick: praying, crossing our fingers, blogging, posting, or otherwise supporting, I think we should do it on the side of this embattled and brave little country – it’s not Obama and his muslim brothers, nor Hilary Clinton and her Muslim ‘sister’ who will save the civilised world.

Netanyahu orders IDF to prepare for Gaza ground offensive
Palestinian killed in IDF strike on Gaza; Rocket fire on Israel’s south continues.
Israel launched a series of airstrikes on Gaza militants early on Tuesday, dubbing the offensive “Operation Protective Edge.” More than 50 targets were hit in the offensive.
Meanwhile, rocket fire on Israel’s south continued. According to the IDF, eight projectiles were launched between 2 and 6 A.M.
Militants in Gaza fired more than 85 rockets toward Israel on Monday evening, with Hamas openly claiming responsibility for some of the launches for the first time since the current round of fighting began. The rockets hit several major cities in the south and, also for the first time in the current fighting, caused alarms to go off in central Israel and Jerusalem. The barrages lightly wounded two Israelis and caused property damage.

Abbas demands Israel halt Gaza raids ‘immediately’
“Palestinian president Mahmud Abbas demanded Israel immediately stop its escalation and the raids on Gaza,” said a statement from his office published shortly after midnight (2100 GMT) by the official WAFA news agency.
He also asked the international community “to immediately intervene to halt this dangerous escalation which would lead the region to more destruction and instability.”
Abbas said the Palestinian leadership was making “intensive and urgent calls” to many Arab leaders in the hope of exerting pressure on Israel to deescalate the situation.

ON Israel
Interesting, I wouldn’t paint a totally rosy picture of Israel, (they don’t prevent violent anti-Christian attacks & vandalism, which are never publicised), I could also give them a score of at least “try harder”, particularly with respect to detoxifying some of the Arab Christians.
What do you mean by detoxify Arab Christians? I don’t think I am up to speed on an issue.
