Israel is capable of carrying out a unilateral military strike against Iran’s nuclear facilities without operational support from the United States, a senior Israeli official said to Israel Radio on Tuesday morning.

Although, such a strike would render less effective than one conducted by America, the unidentified official said.

The diplomatic official doubted US intentions to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons at all costs.

American conduct regarding Syria, contrary to declarations by President Barack Obama, shows Israel that it cannot rely on US assurances, the Israeli source said.

  1. Israel should just do it. They’ll be waiting forever if they rely on the U.S.A., especially with limp-wristed, Muslim whipping-boy Obama at the steering wheel.

  2. Given the way Obama has reduced our military capabilities we no longer have the ability to do it the way it should be done.

  3. They and we have been saying Iran is just about to make a bomb for a long time. That and the prolonged fear of war with Iran wearing on people. That will make more and more want peace, thus make a strike less and less acceptable, possibly allowing Iran to finish the bomb.

If they’re going to do it they have to do it soon. We can all do our cumbaya-ing afterwords.

And a strike against nuclear capabilities won’t cause an all out war. Iran won’t do anything significant in responce. All their propoganda has been about preventing it from happening. They won’t actually be able to do anything significant about it afterwords. That’s precisely WHY they want a bomb.

    Like a bandage 1 2 3 OFF!

  4. I hope no one in the Buraq Hussein administration might consider Zigzigzignew Brzezezesnki’s (however his name is spelled) execrable suggestion that the US military should actually be used to stop the Israelis from doing what must be done.
