A MAN struck up a conversation with a young woman walking down the street before getting into her home and trying to kiss her on the lips, a court heard.

The female managed to get Najaf Khan out of her home, only for him to return a few moments later and ask if she wanted a burger, the hearing was told.

A jury at Preston Crown Court also heard claims that, following his arrest, Khan exposed himself to three women detention officers.

Khan, 31, of Stanley Street, Brierfield went on trial yesterday, and denies seven charges.

These involve an alleged trespass with intent to commit a sexual offence, sexual assault, and also an attempted sexual assault, all allegedly on the same woman, on November 11 last year.

He also denies four further charges of exposure, two of the alleged offences said to have been against the same woman.

  1. She should not have been walking out on her own. She should know she must abide by the customs and laws of the county she is in.
