Three years after the White House arranged a hero’s welcome at the State of the Union address for the Fort Hood police sergeant and her partner who stopped the deadly shooting there, Kimberly Munley says President Obama broke the promise he made to her that the victims would be well taken care of.
“Betrayed is a good word,” former Sgt. Munley told ABC News in a tearful interview to be broadcast tonight on “World News with Diane Sawyer” and “Nightline.”
“Not to the least little bit have the victims been taken care of,” she said. “In fact they’ve been neglected.”
Putting Field Marshal Hassan on trial is risking putting Islam on trial. That will take courage America doesn’t have. Hence the circus.
Putting any President on trial is a massive undertaking, and we saw how the Dems in the Senate react the last time we tried to remove a crook. It isn’t lack of courage that is stopping people as much as frustration, they know that what they do will probably be useless. Unless he is convicted in the Senate and removed from office there is no legal way to do anything, our system was set up under the expectation that we would have honorable people in Congress, people who would act in the best interest of the nation, not people who would act in ways to maintain their personal power.
Ponder the words of Jan Morgan, “Poor America, it is too late to work within the system and too soon to shoot the bastards.”
