If ever half of our society needed deprogramming centres it’s now. This ideological Gordian knot, this brain damage from Enlightment thought taken to its extreme, will take centuries to unravel. Yet to clear minds it’s very simple.
It would be laughable if it weren’t so damned profound because it is a symptom of atrophy, the turning into one amorphous mush, of our value systems.
@Dallas: Somehow, I don’t believe the great thinkers of the 17th and 18th Centuries would have believed this devolution of perversion in critical, empirical thinking possible. Locke, Kant, Voltare, Newton, Franklin, Burke, Jefferson. We have nobody of that calibre today.
You know what I would like to see? I would love to see Michael Coren put the slapdown on Piers Morgan, and on Morgan’s own show too.
