CAIRO, Jan. 20 (Xinhua) — The death toll rose to five in clashes between police officers and relatives of a murdered citizen outside a police station in Egypt’s Qalioubiya Governorate with 12 others injured, Health Ministry spokesman Ahmed Omar told Xinhua on Sunday.
Omar added that three bodies were kept at the morgue of Nasser Hospital and the other two were received by their families.
The 12 injured people were taken to nearby Bahteem and Nasser hospitals.
