6 Replies to “‘Unconstitutional Laws Aren’t Laws’: Marine Who Penned Blistering Letter to Sen. Feinstein Over Gun Control Speaks Out”

  1. Notice that the Talking Twit never spoke to the fact that Feinstein’s desired legislation requires registering the firearms that she claims to be “grandfathering” – at the great expense demanded by the NFA regulations ($200 per firearm). It does not mention grandfathering possession of normal magazines, which are designed to hold thirty rounds. Those will become contraband and must be disposed of or will be confiscated.

And she states, “the law is the law” – unless you are a “media personality given “permission” to break it, as she seems to believe David Gregory was (in order for him to possess a banned magazine in the District of Columbia). Gregory could as easily gotten his point across holding a life-sized photograph of a 30-round magazine, without breaking that law, but chose not to do so.

I feel certain there are many in the military and some in law enforcement (not as many) who will refuse to try to force US citizens to comply with confiscation, but I am equally certain that most will accept the idea of citizens being forced to register those guns.

And we all know that every country which forced its people to register their firearms then went on to outlaw and confiscate them. There have been no exceptions to this fact.

  2. “The Second Amendment isn’t there for duck hunting. It’s there to protect us from tyrannical government and street thugs.” Does Piers Morgan have an armed bodyguard? People can’t come to our country, take advantage of all that it offers, and then criticize the very essence of what they’ve taken advantage of.

Our own president has armed guards:

The school Obama’s daughters attend has 11 armed guards but he won’t consider it an option for your kids:

    UNCONSTITUTIONAL LAWS AREN’T LAWS

  3. A lot of people out here are upset over the idea of having our firearms registered. Look at the number of the people buying firearms and ammo, they aren’t worried about registration, you don’t spend that much for items you think are going to be confiscated, you spend it on weapons for self defense.

  4. He is right, an unconstitutional law is no law.

The constitution is what created and legitimized the Federal Government in the first place. Not only that but is VERY CLEAR that anything not granted is left to the states and the people.

Put it simple, the constitution is the contract that legitimizes government. The moment they stop obeying it, the moment they cease to be a legitimate government and instead becomes a tyranny of goons telling people what to think and do.

    A line is drawn.

  5. @Ricardo, that is why we need to bring back requiring the Constitution be taught in all High Schools, it was when I was in High School, one semester on the Federal Constitution and one semester on the State Constitution. The left got the requirement dropped and eventually killed the classes saying they should be taught in collage.
