THERE have been few more repellent spectacles this year than the smirking Abu Qatada moving house. Qatada, let me remind you, is the man described by a judge as Osama Bin Laden’s righthand man in Europe.

He has been convicted of a conspiracy to bomb hotels in Jordan and of assisting other bomb plots.Because of a decision last month by the Special Immigration Appeals Commission the Government was forced to release him from prison and unless she wins her appeal Home Secretary Theresa May will have to give up her bid to have him deported to Jordan.

One of Mrs May’s predecessors as home secretary, David Blunkett, said while he was in office that Qatada was “extraordinarily dangerous”.

  1. The name of the game these days is “shit on the soldiers”, after all they are so dumb that they enlist so you can do what you want to them and they won’t realize their leader are betraying them.
