A suspect in the Benghazi attack that killed U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans has been arrested, NBC News is reporting.

Mohammed Abu Jamal Ahmed, who is accused of playing a role in September’s deadly attack against the U.S. Consulate in Libya, was detained in Cairo, according to NBC, which cited two unnamed sources in its report.

In addition to his possible involvement in the Benghazi attack, Ahmed is also accused of illegally trafficking weapons from Libya to Egypt.

He was freed from an Egyptian prison around the time that former President Moammar Gadhafi was ousted from power.

He is believed to be affiliated with a number of militant groups in Iraq and Afghanistan and the Wall Street Journal reported in October that he was trying to establish a new branch of al Qaeda.

  1. The next question is will anything be done to him or will he be let go to a heroes welcome?

  2. Is this person really the culprit?

The American people should hold the Obama Administration to account
