“I cannot sleep and whenever I shut my eyes, I see Anusha’s burnt face…”

Less than a week ago the life of Pakistani teen Anusha Akhtar was snuffed out.

The death of a child is always heart-wrenching, but when killed at the hands of her own parents, that makes the death horrific.

As previously reported by Examiner.com, Anusha’s father, Mohammed Zafar, and her mother, Zaheen Akhtar, were arrested for pouring acid on their daughter for reportedly “standing too close to a boy.”

To further enrage the parents, they later caught Anusha later “looking at two boys.”

Reportedly, her father beat her, then her mother assisted while the father poured acid on her for bringing dishonor on the family.

Only a day later did the parents take the child to a hospital where she eventually died of her acid-caused injuries.
