Am I dreaming? or is this for real?

I took screen caps from the White House website cause frankly I can’t believe it.

First one from here:

And the second one from a link in the first one. From December 26 2011

For some reason I am reminded of how on Barry Soweto Hussein Obama’s trip to India he decided not to enter the Sikh’s most important temple to avoid any speculation on his faith  and then visited a mosque in Indonesia on the same trip.

  1. It’s for real. I saw this on another site a few days back and was shocked – shocked! I say – at the idea that the World’s First Affirmative Action President would completely ignore such an important time for christians.

After all, it’s not as if he is one.

  2. I am well into my sixties and have only been aware that there was such a celebration of Kwaanza in the last couple of years. Where did it spring from?

  3. As far as I know it is a leftist invention to assist in the destruction of traditional solstice celebrations like Christmas and Hanukkah.

  4. You are not dreaming about the press thing. I looked at the link to see if there was something about it before the earliest entry on the screencap and there wasn’t.

HOWEVER Obama did wish us all a merry Christmas in his weekly address over the holiday period. So no he did not ignore christmas as it might appear in the press thingy.

Here he is saying merry christmas at the very begining of his address and again at the end. Here it is on youtube.

  5. SHITSKY! I had no idea putting the link to the vid would post the actual vid in the comment! I just cut and pasted what was in the browser over the youtube page as usual. Sorry if that’s not cool. I only tried to post the link- not post a video. Posting the vid might make my comment appear more emphatic than intended.

  6. Saudi-Arabia is the proverbial double-edged sword. They want it both ways. A big, fat wealthy western dimmocracy to buy their oil, and a strong Islamic world to keep them in power. Definitely a tool to be wielded with care. Giving them some of your best war planes is taking a swipe at your own face.
