India will soon put into effect a new 4.5% job reservation quota for minorities, which comes within the already established OBC [“Other Backward Classes”] quota. Better known as “positive discrimination” in the West, The OBC quota was established to help “backward” minorities, such as those from the lower castes and various tribes.
