Iran doesn’t give up. Near the anniversary of 9/11, its media said New York’s World Trade Towers were “never hit by a plane” and that fire could not have toppled them.

The Iranian government-controlledPRESS TV told Iranians Wednesday the collapse remains an “unsolved mystery” and that “scientists, architectsand engineers all over the world have questioned the official version of how WTC-7 fell down.”

It denied official reports that “World Center 7 collapsed because of fire fueled by office furnishings” and quoted an architect named Richard Gage as saying,  “Fires have never before caused the collapse of any skyscraper, even though there are numerous examples of much hotter, larger, and longer-lasting fires in these buildings.”

Putin: I Saw Jesus in Iran’s Leader

Iran’s supreme leader is being elevated to sainthood and leader of the worldwide Islamic movement by the Iranian media.

In commentaries that reflect the dictates of the Iranian regime, the media for the first time are publishing statements by world officials and others that deify Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

The most significant of such statements comes from Vladimir Putin, the former president and current prime minister of Russia. The media outlet Mahramaneh reports that in October 2007, when Putin traveled to Iran, he specifically requested a meeting with Khamenei and came away dazzled.

During that meeting, according to the report, Khamenei talked about the history of Russia and what lies ahead, which surprised Putin. Afterward, Iranian diplomats said that Putin’s behavior had changed drastically. When Putin returned to Moscow, a reporter asked what he thought of the Iranian supreme leader. Putin is quoted as saying: “I don’t know much about the Messiah, the Christ, just what I have heard or read in the Bible, but I saw Christ, the Messiah, in the leader of Iran.”

Iran’s Nuclear Experiments Raise Alarm at U.N. Agency

WASHINGTON—The United Nations’ nuclear agency says it is “increasingly concerned” that Iran has conducted experimental work to develop nuclear weapons, in particular on warheads to deliver nuclear payloads.

In a report issued Friday, the International Atomic Energy Agency also said Iran has begun deploying so-called second-generation centrifuges at its largest uranium-enrichment facility at Natanz, which could allow the country to produce nuclear fuel at three times its current rate.

Tehran has concurrently begun installing centrifuge machines at an underground site near the holy city of Qom, according to the U.N. agency, potentially minimizing the ability of the U.S. or Israel …

All the stories above are partials. Please click the related headline to read the entire thing. The news from Iran is coming in to thick and fast (not to mention horrifying) to post each thing separately. However I have had the excellent fortune to work with a Persian Expat who is translating videos right out of Iran, not meant for Western audiences, and I hope to be able to regularly post those here as we get them done. Its quite difficult work for her but she is a tireless worker for a free Persia and has first hand experience with what an “Islamic republic” in Iran actually means.

Thanks also to Richard who sends me excellent material quite often.

  1. Twin Towers not hit by plane?! Now we are suppose to believe what they say more than what we see w/our own eyes. Oh wait, its been that way for a while!

However, the way the towers fell has been an eye brow raiser. But I figured the insurance company did it so that it wouldn’t fall onto other buildings (as the terrorists maybe hoped?).

  2. The Iranian thugocracy must be destroyed before it acquires nuclear capability. Time is running very short.

  3. WT 7 wasn’t hit by anything – except controlled explosives. Shame. It contained a decades worth of FBI investigation for the Enron trial, probably now abandoned.
